When you publish an app with Base44, you’ll often notice their branding appear somewhere in your project. This could be a small “Edit with Base44” badge, their logo, or another watermark visible on your live site.
A lot of users ask how to remove that badge or branding.
If that’s you, here’s what I’ll cover:
Removing the Base44 badge or watermark isn’t available on the Free or Starter plans. You’ll need to upgrade to at least the Builder plan or above to hide all Base44 branding from your published apps.
Builder — $50/month
Pro — $100/month
Elite — $200/month
Branding removal is not available for Free and Starter users.
It’s the same if you want to export Base44 code as well.
Let’s begin.
Answer: You need to be a paid plan higher than Starter ($40/mo+) to remove Base44’s badge. To do it, open your app’s settings and untick “Platform Badge”.

This will hide the “Edit with Base44” and “Build with Base44” badges from this particular app. If you want to hide it from other apps, you’ll have to do the same for each individual app.
The only free way to hide Base44’s badge from your app is to ask the AI to globally hide anything with the ID “base44-badge” in the CSS code.
Basically, you’re asking the AI: Hey, don’t remove Base44’s watermark, but hide it from any live page on my previewed or published app.

Every Base44 app includes a small badge element inside the project’s HTML. It’s wrapped in an element with the ID base44-badge (or a similar class name).
By adding a CSS rule that targets that element and sets display: none, you’re telling the browser not to render it.
Because the rule is added to your global styles, it hides the badge across your entire app — no need to remove it page by page.
In short: The badge still exists in the code if someone inspects it, but for regular visitors, it’s completely invisible.

Answer: To hide the Base44 badge with code, open your app, go to the Layout.js file, and manually add a rule to remove it. Follow these steps:
You can just copy-paste this line right here:
This line of CSS hides the Base44 badge from view by telling the browser not to render it. The badge still exists in your app’s code if someone inspects it, but regular visitors won’t see it on your live site.
It’s a quick, harmless visual tweak that removes Base44 branding across all your pages once and for all.
If you’re still seeing the Base44 badge after upgrading, here’s why:
You need to be on at least the Builder plan ($40/month) to remove Base44’s watermark. Even if you’re paying for the first paid tier (the Starter plan, $16/month) the badge will stay visible.
Base44 only allows branding removal for Builder, Pro, and Elite users.
The lower tiers don’t include that toggle in settings.

Once you’re on the right plan, open your app’s Settings → Platform Badge, and untick it to hide Base44’s logo from your app.
We’ll be 100% upfront: Shipper also includes a small badge by default. The difference is, we don’t hide it behind paywalls or make it confusing to remove.
If you want to keep it, awesome – it helps support the platform.
If you don’t, you can remove it instantly with the same CSS method shown above.

Other than that, Shipper gives you:
So if you want a builder that’s transparent about branding (and gives you full control), you’ll probably like Shipper.now.

Yes, you can hide the Base44 logo. If your plan includes the Platform Badge toggle, go to Settings → Platform Badge and turn it off.
Yes, but you’ll need to target those specific pages with custom CSS. For example:
.page-home #base44-badge { display: none !important; }
This hides the badge only on pages that have the class page-home. You can replace it with any page-specific class or ID.

If you’re on a lower plan without that setting, you can hide it manually by adding this to your CSS:
“base44-badge { display: none !important; }”.
This hides the logo across your entire app.
If you’re paying for Base44, you’re getting multiple perks such as the removed logo and access to custom domains.
